Ming and Yi-ting were an ordinary couple living an ordinary life. They met in the deep quiet room in the university library, fell in love, married, and are now expecting their first child. But one day, shockingly, Ming discovered Yi-ting’s lifeless body in their study, her suicide leaving him bewildered. Reflecting on Yi-ting’s unusual behavior during her pregnancy and her desire for a divorce, Ming assumed responsibility for her family. As he immersed himself in Yi-ting’s world, he unraveled the enigma behind her actions—her strained relationship with her father, her plea not to be left alone, and the painful truths she couldn’t confront.
