Like You
An aching and sensual coming-of-age story set in Salida, Colorado: a small town on the Arkansas River shielded by 14,000 ft mountains. One night, Smith sneaks out of his house to meet a sophisticated older man named Mateo, and the two begin a summer affair that dreamily flows out of sequence like a murky watercolor memory. As Mateo's truck traces the map of Salida, Smith recalls their first hug and anticipates their goodbye, the sentimental impermanence of love multiplied by a new outlook on the town he calls home.
