Okiku and the World
Au Japon sous l'ère Edo, deux vagabonds malhonnêtes gagnent leur vie en tant qu'"hommes de fumier", transformant les déchets des toilettes des particuliers en engrais vendu aux fermiers locaux. Okiku, la fille unique d'un samouraï déchu, fait son entrée et, parmi les tas d'excréments qui débordent, une histoire d'amour bien nourrie se noue.
