Mon chien Skip
En 1942, à Yazoo, aux États-Unis, la vie pour Willie Morris, jeune garcon de huit ans, n'est pas très gaie. Rejeté par les enfants de son âge et protégé à l’excès par son père, Willie n'a d'autre compagnon que son chien, Skip. Cet animal d'exception se révèle supérieurement habile et intelligent et va aider notre jeune homme à s’émanciper. Mais le temps passe et Willie, maintenant âgé de dix-sept ans, quitte pour la première fois sa petite bourgade et dit adieu à son fidèle ami Skip.
